How Pecks Farm Shop has adapted in the face of the Corona Virus situation
First things first: Don’t panic! We’re still very much open
Like all food retailers, we’re enforcing strict social distancing measures to protect you our customers and our staff. These include:
- Clearly marked queuing zones to ensure 2m separation at all times.
- A one way system round the shop to keep things flowing (don’t worry if you miss something the first time, you can always go around again)
- All handles and surfaces wiped down and checked every morning and throughout the day
- Gloves and hand sanitiser for customers to use
Special service for vulnerable and ‘at risk’ customers
When you arrive, stay in your car and wave your shopping list. We will do your shopping for you and you can pay, contactless, without even getting out of the car.
More to offer means less trips out
To help you reduce the number of shops you need to visit stock up on provisions, we’ve teamed up with more local suppliers to broaden the range available here at the Farm shop. We currently stock a range of fresh meat from Leighton Buzzard family butcher, Stratton’s, and a variety of bedding plants, seedlings and herbs from Rushmere Plants.
Together, we’ll get through this.
