The Leighton Buzzard Brewing Company brews contemporary beers which are packed with taste. Using the finest malts and hops, they deliver a range of beers which are bold and flavoursome.
Cuckoo (3.8% ABV): A classic traditional British Bitter, with the perfect balance between malt and four different varieties of English hops. Deceptively tasty for its strength.
Narrow Gauge (3.9% ABV): Brewed with 100% pale malt, this golden ale delivers a strong citrus finish and long dry bitter aftertaste thanks to the liberal use of the First Gold and Citra hops.
Restoration Ale (4.6% ABV): A mid brown beer with similarities in colour and strength to a traditional best bitter, but enhanced by the generous use of American Cascade and Perle hops to deliver a fruity refreshing beer.
Rebel Yell (5.0% ABV): A black IPA offering that fantastic juxtaposition between the initial smooth richness of the malt quickly followed by the sharpness of dry hops. Brewed using five different malts and four different hops.
Smokin’ Angel (5.0% ABV): Using generous quantities of German Rauchmaltz smoked over beechwood, this dark porter style beer offers a a wonderful smoky aroma and taste.
Black Buzzard (5.8% ABV): A crazy marriage of six different malts which delivers a wonderfully complex and robust porter, with hints of coffee and chocolate.
Borrowers Bitter (3.6% ABV): A lower ABV bitter, perfect for a long session. It is brewed with four different English hops and is an easy-drinking beer everyone can enjoy. The name comes from the classic series of children’s stories ‘The Borrowers’ by Mary Norton, who was a Leighton Buzzard resident when she wrote the books in the large house (now a Middle School) at the bottom of the High Street.
