Mull of Kintyre Cheese 250g is made at the Campbeltown creamery on the remote Kintyre Peninsula. This award winning cheddar is made to a long established recipe using milk from local dairy herds. Rich and tangy with a subtle sweetness this cheese may exhibit small crystals of Calcium Lactate. These are formed naturally as part of the maturation process and give the cheese its distinctive crunch.
Rugged, bold and full of character, our cheddar is slowly aged until perfect, then hand selected by our master cheese graders to ensure its firm body and deep, rounded flavour with nutty, sweet hints – resulting in a distinctive experience that slowly stimulates the different taste sensations.
