Pinkster Gin are a growing gin maker based in Cambridgeshire. It all came about when founder Stephen, a keen maker of sloe liqueurs and other concoctions, turned his attention to spirits and started experimenting at home, mashing assorted fruits with different spirit strengths. He wasn’t intentionally creating a pink drink, it’s just that after working his way through an entire fruit bowl, raspberry delivered the best flavour.
Pinkster makes a refreshingly different gin, with a delicate flavour appealing both to seasoned gin drinkers and recent converts.
Best of all, the raspberries used in the gin making process are recycled, albeit slightly intoxicated, and are sold as Boozy Berries and Gin Jam here at Pecks.
Pinkster Gin : 37.5% abv. Sold in three sizes:
Gin Jam : This mildly alcoholic jam (2.5% abv) is ideal for putting the tipple in your teatime or for something slightly stronger, such as a Gin ‘n’ Jam cocktail.
