Making hay while the sun shines

It’s been another “busy day in the office” for Mr Peck, hay turning in preparation for baleing. Hopefully! If the weather turns and it gets wet, then we will make what is called haylidge – still good but then it has to be wrapped to stop it going mouldy. It’s nicer to have bales of fresh dry hay, but sometimes the weather doesn’t oblige!

Don’t forget – We’re called Pecks Farm Shop because we’re on a real farm
